An unforgettable motorcycle adventure

We’ll ride up the legendary Carretera de la Cabra (A-4050), an old mountain road that once connected the coast with Granada and is now a true paradise for bikers: linked curves, spectacular viewpoints and very little traffic. We’ll then cross the Lecrín Valley, with a stop in Padul, and return through the most charming villages in the area (Cozvíjar, Restábal, Guájar Fondón and the Los Guájares district) before heading back to Marina del Este by the Mediterranean.

A perfect half-day experience for those who want to enjoy a great motorbike route in Granada without dedicating the whole day to it.

On this motorbike route from Marina del Este you will enjoy:

A seaside start on the Costa Tropical, surrounded by cliffs and hidden coves.
The climb up the Carretera de la Cabra, one of the most spectacular roads in Andalusia, with views of the Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama mountains and a layout made for enjoying the curves.
A stop in Padul, the gateway to the Lecrín Valley, for a coffee or a soft drink and to stretch your legs.
A stretch through Cozvíjar and Restábal, among olive groves, almond trees and reservoirs, with Sierra Nevada on the horizon on clear days.
The descent towards Guájar Fondón and Los Guájares, very quiet back roads, ideal for enjoying the riding and the scenery.
The return to Marina del Este, where the route ends with views of the harbour and the sea.

A perfect combination of curves, nature and white villages in the south of Granada.

Rider requirements

Minimum age: 25 years.
Category A motorcycle licence with at least 3 years of riding experience.

Safety & recommendations

Our guides have many years of riding experience. Before setting off, you’ll receive a short safety briefing and all the necessary riding gear.

What to bring:

Sturdy footwear and long trousers.
Warm clothing in spring/autumn.
Sunglasses and sunscreen.
A camera and, above all, your sense of adventure!

Prefer to ride at your own pace?

From 15 June to 15 September we don’t run guided tours, but we’ll give you the GPS tracks of our routes for free so you can ride them on your own with a rental bike. Just ask: we provide them whenever you request them, at no charge.
