Description
The KTM 390 Adventure R is a light and capable adventure bike, built for riders who want to leave the tarmac without giving up agility on the road. Powered by a liquid-cooled 398.7 cc single-cylinder engine with 45 HP, WP APEX suspension with 230 mm of travel and 21/18-inch wheels, it handles twisty roads and dirt tracks with ease.
Weighing just 176 kg fully fuelled and A2-licence friendly, it is the perfect companion to discover Las Alpujarras, Sierra Nevada or La Axarquía from the Costa Tropical, with KTM's reliability and adventurous character. Our bike also has a lowered 840 mm seat, so you can reach the ground more easily.

Rental requirements
To hire a motorbike with Tropical Riders, you’ll need:
- A valid driving licence for the motorbike category.
- A passport or valid ID.
- Minimum rental: 3 days.
- Minimum age of 25 years and 3 years holding a category A2 licence.
- Rental includes 250 km per day. Additional kilometres are charged at €0.45/km.
- A refundable security deposit of €1000, held on your credit card during the rental period.
- All bikes include basic third-party insurance with national coverage. For added peace of mind, comprehensive cover is available. 24-hour assistance is provided throughout your rental.
Delivery & collection hours
- June to October: Monday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- November to May: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- Each rental day is 24 hours: for example, if you collect the bike at 12:00 noon, you must return it by 12:00 noon the following day at the latest.
- Weekends from November to May: collect the bike on Friday afternoon and return it on Monday at 10:00 am. You are charged for 2 days.
