An unforgettable motorcycle adventure

Short on time but big on adventure? Our Capileira Express route is perfect for you. A half-day ride (4 to 5 hours) that takes you along spectacular roads, charming villages and unforgettable landscapes of the Granada Alpujarra. Ideal for those who want to enjoy the best of the mountains and the sea without spending the whole day!

Departure: Tropical Riders (Marina del Este)

We start our engines at our Tropical Riders base, next to the N-340. From here we follow the coast, enjoying views of the Mediterranean, before joining the N-323a to the historic village of Tablate, where our climb into the mountains begins.

Heading into the Alpujarra: stop in Lanjarón

We take the A-348 towards Lanjarón, the gateway to the Alpujarra. Here we make a short stop at the legendary Venta El Buñuelo, where you can enjoy a coffee while breathing in the fresh mountain air.

Panoramic route: Órgiva, Soportújar and more

We continue along the Alpujarra road through the most picturesque villages in the area: Órgiva, Carataunas, Soportújar (yes, the witches’ village 🧙), Pampaneira, Bubión… until we reach our final destination: Capileira, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, at almost 1,500 metres above sea level.

The return: two options, one adventure

The way back depends on the group’s pace and the time left. Option 1: via Vélez de Benaudalla and the old N-323a, a quieter route with less traffic. Option 2: via the A-7, if you prefer a faster road back to base.

Not included: lunch and drinks. Each rider pays for their own.

Rider requirements

Minimum age: 25 years.
Category A motorcycle licence with at least 3 years of riding experience.

Safety & recommendations

Our guides have many years of riding experience. Before setting off, you’ll receive a short safety briefing and all the necessary riding gear.

What to bring:

Sturdy footwear and long trousers.
Warm clothing in spring/autumn.
Sunglasses and sunscreen.
A camera and, above all, your sense of adventure!

Prefer to ride at your own pace?

From 15 June to 15 September we don’t run guided tours, but we’ll give you the GPS tracks of our routes for free so you can ride them on your own with a rental bike. Just ask: we provide them whenever you request them, at no charge.
